UI Preferences changes only your own PawPlacer experience. Open Settings > You > UI Preferences. Choices save as soon as you select them.
The app language is not on this page. Change it from your profile menu or the mobile menu; see Language.
Theme and Accent Color
Choose Light, Dark, or System mode, then select an accent palette for buttons, selections, and other highlights. The pink pet characters also follow your accent while keeping their shaded facets. Each palette includes colors for light and dark mode. A success message confirms when your accent is saved.
Your accent choice is saved to your user profile and follows you across browsers. Light, dark, and system mode are saved in your current browser. Your accent applies to workspace pages; public pages keep PawPlacer's branding. Select Reset to default to restore the original PawPlacer accent.
Pet Badges
Pet badges summarize linked pets in compact record views.
- Avatars Only uses stacked pet images and a remaining-count indicator when needed. This is the default.
- With Names uses wider badges that include each pet's name.
Pet Placeholder
Choose what PawPlacer displays when a pet has no photo:
- Pet Animation uses a playful character matched to the pet's species.
- Letter Avatar uses the pet's initial.
The choices include live previews so you can compare the two styles before selecting one.
Permissions
Every user can set their own UI preferences. The selection does not affect other team members or public pet images.
