Tasks

PawPlacer organizes tasks into boards and columns. Open Tasks from the main navigation to see the Taskboards workbench.

Taskboards

The Taskboards page lets you:

  • Search board names and descriptions.
  • Sort by newest, oldest, or name.
  • Open a board card.
  • Create a board.
  • Edit a board from its card menu.

Board Workbench

An open board shows:

  • Metrics for Tasks, Overdue, Unassigned, and Linked to pets.
  • Search, tag filtering, and active filter chips.
  • Board and List views.
  • Active, Completed, and Archived status views.
  • Add Task and Board settings actions.

Board view uses draggable columns and task cards. List view groups compact task rows by column and includes completion checkboxes.

Task Details

Select a card or row to open its side panel:

  • Details: name, description, board, due date and time, assignees, pets, and tags.
  • Documents: files attached to the task.
  • Comments: team discussion.

The panel also provides task completion and archive controls when your permissions allow them.

Other Places Tasks Appear

  • Linked tasks appear in the Profile section of a pet record.
  • Dated tasks appear in Dashboard schedule widgets and Upcoming.
  • The Dashboard Tasks widget and other action summaries can link directly to the same task panel.
