Your PawPlacer public profile gives visitors one shareable place to learn about your organization, browse pets, open applications, and view other public resources. Visitors do not need a PawPlacer account.
Publish the Profile
- Open Settings > Organization Details.
- In Public profile, turn on Profile Visibility.
- Choose whether to Show street address.
- Choose whether to Show adoptable pets.
- Save the settings.
The same page shows the locked public-page path:
https://pawplacer.com/shelters/[organization-id]
The street-address setting shows the full address when on and only the city and state when off.
Information Visitors May See
The public page uses current organization data from Organization Details:
- Name, logo, description, and supported species
- Contact email, phone, website, and social links
- City and state, or the full address and map
- Organization schedule
- Public pets
- Available application actions
- Public events, support options, wishlist needs, and flyers when those resources are available
The profile does not expose internal notes, medical records, staff-only form fields, or private workspace data.
Keep It Current
Update organization identity and contact details in Settings > Organization Details. Update hours in Settings > Schedule. Forms come from Settings > Forms, and individual pet visibility is managed on each eligible pet.
Before sharing the page broadly, open it in a signed-out browser and test the public actions your organization expects visitors to use.
