Profile Sections

Understand the organization information and public resources shown on a profile

In this guide

Key sections from this documentation page.

Organization SummaryGet InvolvedPets

The public profile combines an organization summary with a main content area. Sections appear only when the related public data is available.

Organization Summary

The top identity area shows the logo, organization name, location summary, and available-pet count. The About card can include:

  • Description
  • Address or city and state
  • Email, phone, and website
  • Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok links
  • A profile sharing action

When the full street address is public, visitors can also view the location and map. Saved operating hours appear in the schedule section.

Get Involved

The sidebar groups available public actions such as:

  • Adopt
  • Foster
  • Surrender
  • Volunteer

An action opens the current public form for that record type. Availability depends on the organization's public setup and form configuration.

Pets

When public pets are enabled, the Pets area shows up to 24 pets per page and supports:

  • Search
  • Species and sex filters
  • Newest or oldest first
  • Name ascending or descending
  • Longest waiting
  • Load More for additional results

Selecting a card opens the pet's public page, with photos, public profile information, adoption or foster actions when available, organization information, and other public pets.

Additional Tabs

The main area can also include:

  • Events for current public events
  • Support for available general donation options
  • Wishlist for active public needs
  • Flyers for active public flyers

These tabs are data-driven. A tab is omitted when there is no corresponding public content or action.

Support and Wishlist

An available support area can offer Stripe Checkout or saved external methods. Stripe reports a successful checkout to PawPlacer automatically. External methods create a pending donation with a reference that staff reconcile after confirming the provider transaction.

Wishlist cards can show multiple retailer links, item pledging, and monetary funding when that item and the organization's available payment setup support it. Fulfilled, archived, or fully covered items do not appear.
