    Manage volunteer records, applications, schedules, documents, and roles

    Volunteers

    PawPlacer keeps volunteer contact details, status, form answers, tags, schedules, documents, notes, email history, and linked adopter or foster roles together.

    Open Volunteers

    Open More > Volunteers. Volunteer management requires the Volunteer Coordinator permission.

    Volunteer Workbench

    The roster includes:

    • Metrics for all volunteers, applications needing review, inactive records, and current results.
    • Status views for All, Pending, Active, Training, Inactive, Denied, Suspended, and Blocked.
    • Search by name or email.
    • Tag filters.
    • Sorting by name, recently updated, recently added, status, or other roles.
    • A link to the Schedule calendar.

    Rows show volunteer identity, status, linked adopter/foster roles, recurring schedule summary, and updated information. Tags and configured custom-form columns can also be shown.

    Volunteer Profile

    The profile includes:

    • Status, contact and address, tags, notes, and linked roles.
    • Metrics for volunteer tenure, upcoming shifts, completed hours this year, and documents.
    • Profile highlights for preferred roles, languages, and certifications.
    • Recurring availability and one-time shifts.
    • Upcoming shifts.
    • Custom form details and email history when present.
    • Team notes, activity, and a separate Documents view.

    Profile actions can edit, email, archive or unarchive, convert to an adopter or foster, and delete, depending on status and permissions.

    Related Administration

    • Customize volunteer record fields in Settings > Forms.
    • Manage volunteer terms in Settings > Contracts.
    • Configure messages in Settings > Email Templates.
    • Import volunteers in Settings > Data Uploader.
    • Export volunteers in Settings > Exports.
