Tracking Transport Details
Read the List
The Transports workbench shows:
- Service with the route underneath.
- State derived from actual departure and arrival.
- Driver and available contact summary.
- Pets as compact avatars.
- Dates using actual times when recorded and estimated times otherwise.
- Updated, available as an optional column.
Search by service, route, or driver. Filter to one journey state and one transport method, and sort by service, mileage, cost, or recent update.
Before Departure
Open the profile and verify:
- Pickup and destination.
- Assigned driver.
- Estimated departure and arrival.
- Pets.
- Base and per-pet costs.
- Internal notes.
Use Edit to correct the record.
Record Progress
- Add Actual Departure when the trip leaves. State becomes In transit.
- Add Actual Arrival when the trip reaches its destination. State becomes Completed.
The journey band and activity timeline use actual dates when they exist and estimated dates while the trip is still planned.
Costs
The profile separates base transport cost, pet cost shares, and the combined total. Update these values through Edit when final expenses differ from the estimate.
Driver Statistics
Assigned transports contribute to the driver's total trips, air and ground counts, and total miles. The driver profile also shows manually maintained hours driven this week against weekly capacity.
