Transport Distance Calculator

The distance calculator fills Miles Covered from the transport's route.

Calculate Distance

1. Open Add Transport or a transport edit form.
2. Enter both From Location and To Location.
3. Click the calculator button beside Miles Covered.
4. Review the mileage PawPlacer inserts.

PawPlacer first requests a route distance from Google Maps. If an exact route is unavailable, it can use a straight-line distance and identifies that result in the notification.

The calculator requires Google Maps to be available. If it is not, enter the mileage manually.

Treat calculated mileage as a planning value. After the trip, replace it with the actual distance when the completed route differed.
