The Medical Suite is the account-wide hub for clinics, veterinarians, medications, and prescriptions. Individual care records remain on each pet's Medical tab.
Open Medical
Open More > Medical. Medical access requires the Medical Manager permission or an administrator role.
Medical Hub
Section cards link to Clinics, Veterinarians, Medications, and Prescriptions. Open the relevant workbench to review its records.
The hub's Needs attention panel covers prescriptions only: active prescriptions past their end date and open-ended active prescriptions with no refills left. A prescription with an end date is never flagged for refills. Overdue vaccines, exams, and other medical work are not listed there; see Find Overdue Vaccines and Medical Work.
The primary action is Add Prescription. The adjacent action menu adds a medication, clinic, or veterinarian.
Resource Workbenches
- Clinics and Veterinarians have Active, All, and Archived views, search, metrics, sorting, selection, and bulk archive/unarchive actions.
- Medications has catalog search, sorting, profiles, and CSV/Excel bulk upload.
- Prescriptions has All, Active, Completed, and Stopped views, search, sorting, and bulk status actions.
Pet Medical Records
Open a pet's Medical tab for exams, vaccinations, procedures, diagnostics, prescriptions, conditions, weight logs, preventatives, and treatments. The combined timeline tracks past care, due work, follow-ups, recurrence, documents, and completion.
Medical dates also feed Dashboard care and schedule widgets and Calendar.
Those reminders, the hub's Needs attention panel, and the Medical – All Overdue Items report data source follow the pet's care state. Pets in care show all due work. Pets in a Placed status, such as Adopted, still show upcoming exams and procedures, but not vaccinations, prescriptions, preventatives, or treatments. Pets that are out of care, such as deceased, transferred, or archived pets, show none.
Find Overdue Vaccines and Medical Work
To see which pets are overdue for vaccines or other medical care across the organization:
- Reports: open the Medical – All Overdue Items report template. It lists overdue vaccinations, exams, procedures, and follow-ups with the pet, type, and due date; filter it by type to see only vaccinations.
- Calendar: in the Table view, set the Status filter to Overdue and use the type chips to show only Vaccine items.
- Dashboard: add the Upcoming Medical widget and open its Overdue tab.
For a single pet, open its Today tab for that pet's Needs attention list, or its Medical tab, where overdue work is listed first. There is no Dashboard section called Needs Attention.
