Donor Giving History
Donor profiles include donation summary cards and a donation history panel that summarize the donor's giving history and list recent donations.
Opening Giving History
- Go to Donors.
- Open a donor profile.
- Review the donation summary cards and the Donations panel in the main profile column.
Donation history appears only for donor profiles. Other person record types use the same compact profile shell, but they do not show donor giving history.
Summary Totals
The donation summary cards show:
- Total received amount
- Pending amount
- Number of received donations
These totals include donations linked directly to the donor and donations that match the donor's email address.
Donation Rows
Each donation row shows:
- Amount
- Status
- Source
- Date
- Allocation, such as a wishlist item or pet sponsorship
- Public donor message, when provided
- Payment provider and payment reference, when available
- Publicly anonymous status, when the donor is known internally but hidden publicly
This gives staff a quick view of what the donor gave, where it was allocated, and whether it has been received.
Click a donation row to open the donation dialog for review or editing. Wishlist and pet allocations link back to the related record.
Anonymous Donations
Anonymous donations can still be tracked internally. PawPlacer stores the anonymous flag on the donation record so staff know the donor should not be displayed publicly, while still preserving the internal giving history your team needs for stewardship and reconciliation.
