Built-in Reports

Understand the five ready-to-run operational dashboards

In this guide

Key sections from this documentation page.

PopulationMedicalLength of Stay

The five built-in dashboards appear across the top of More > Reports. They run directly against current organization data and do not need to be configured or saved.

Population

Population summarizes the animals currently in care, including the active population, species mix, age distribution, and status breakdowns. Use the available selectors to narrow the dashboard when investigating a particular part of the population.

Medical

Medical brings together medical events, vaccinations, health trends, and costs. Its sections help you compare preventive care and treatment work, review cost trends, and identify animals or conditions associated with higher medical spending.

Length of Stay

Length of Stay analyzes how long animals remain in care and how quickly they reach adoption or another outcome. It highlights averages, distribution, adoption speed, and long-stay animals that may need attention.

Outcomes

Outcomes summarizes adoptions, transfers, and other recorded outcomes. Use it to compare outcome activity and evaluate how successfully animals are moving through care.

Financial

Financial focuses on recorded revenue and donation trends. It provides headline totals and supporting breakdowns for the selected period.

Date Ranges and Exports

Each dashboard provides the controls relevant to that report. When a dashboard displays a date range, changing it refreshes the results. Use the dashboard's CSV action to download its current tabular data.

For a reusable column-and-filter definition, start from a template or create a Custom Report instead.
