Pets (Cloning & Litters)
In progressCandy's Cats
Add the ability to save and clone pets to quickly automate litters and link relationships (sex, color, microchip), even if that litter is split among different fosters.

Hi Candy's Cats, you can duplicate a pet directly from it's profile by clicking the ... button. This carries over all of the pet's fields other than microchip and custom ID, but does not copy over associated litter information or documents.

I'm checking with our team to see if this is a viable solution but just wanted to share the following. Let me know if I should create bug reports or additional feature request(s) for these. 1) Bug Report: The quantity box doesn't accept a backspace, instead it jumps to the name field (E.g. trying to change 1 to 4). 2) Feature Request: The ability to automatically create a litter on this page would be ideal. They could default to litter members and if needed, can be updated in the relationships page afterwards. 3) Info: Litter name could be an automatically generated name/number to streamline the process.

For bug reporting, the best way would be to email us at contact@pawplacer.com. We review those emails as soon as we get them and a developer will be able to pick up any requests or fixes almost immediately, whereas we review the roadmap items frequently, but not immediately upon posting, because they are usually forward-facing as opposed to now-fixing. We have pushed an update so that litters can be created during the duplication process with automatic naming if chosen.
