Brave was rescued on November 15th 2019 by one of our volunteers, Miles Cielo when he saw him hit by a motorbike crossing a busy road. There was a truck approaching which would have likely just run over him and crushed him so Miles ran into the road and scooped him up and took him to a vet on his motor bike. We initially thought Brave was paralysed as he didn�t move for a few days but it was just trauma as there was nothing actually physically wrong with him. When we brought him to the Sanctuary he was petrified and just stayed in a wooden kennel for a couple of months, not even mixing with the other dogs. BraveWe think that he was abused before because he was so afraid of people. He would sit with his face turned to the back of the kennel when we approached him. BraveHe slowly started mixing with other dogs and now is part of the pack that Fury is the matriarch of. He often comes running out barking at anyone who goes near. He still doesn't like to be touched but allows people to approach. He is a really healthy dog and has had no illnesses since he has been at the Sanctuary. He has now put on a good bit of weight � he has a look of a tiger!
