Scarlett was a stray identified by our Community Stray Wardens - volunteers looking to trap, neuter, vaccinate and release otherwise healthy strays. On 13 December 2021 she was bought to the Sanctuary as she looked pregnant. An ultrasound showed she wasn't so we spayed her and intended to put her back as she had the Sanctuary of an abandoned house and someone to feed her daily. She had such a sweet nature we couldn't imagine putting her back on the streets. Our criteria for putting them back is that they are not underfed and have a pack to roam with or at least a best doggie friend. Scarlett is now a feisty little thing with loads of energy!
