Bear

Bear has spent most of his short life in a crate with very little human interaction, but despite his difficult start, this lovable little guy is discovering just how wonderful life can be.

He is generally dog-friendly and is currently enjoying the company of several other little dogs in his foster home. Bear can be a little competitive with one of the resident males, so he does best with a little space when needed. He also prefers to eat separately from the other dogs. Given his history of being underfed, he may have some food-related resource guarding, so his foster family is helping him learn that he no longer has to worry about where his next meal is coming from.

Bear is still learning to trust, feel secure, and simply enjoy being a dog. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, we believe this sweet boy has so much potential to blossom into the happy, confident companion he deserves to be.

Bear’s past may have been difficult, but his future can be filled with love.
