We rescued Shadow on 13 April 2025 after he was hit by a car and left to die in the scorching heat. A good Samaritan saw a post about him and immediately went to pick him up on his motorbike and took him home. Malik, the person who picked him up, originally wanted to adopt him, but despite our best efforts, it's likely Shadow will not regain the ability to use his back legs, and needs special surroundings to make him comfortable. He shuffles around the clinic happily, as we have tiled floors, and he is also getting accustomed to the wheelchair that was donated for him. However, our clinic is not a place for him to live. We really need a good home for him.
