Maisy was rescued in June 2020 by one of our foster carers Mike. They had been dumped in a garbage area and would not likely have survived. There were originally five which we named Maisy, Mica, Mitch, Maddie and Miley. Sadly, 3 of the puppies caught Parvo, a common virus which is very difficult to eradicate. Mitch and Mica died, and Maddie barely survived. Maisy and Miley were more fortunate. The puppy run was playing its part in keeping potentially vulnerable puppies in an area we can easily disinfect and keep the incidence of Parvo down. Like her siblings, Maisy was very small and malnourished when she was rescued. It took some time for her to begin to gain weight. Maisy gets on well with her other siblings and loves to cuddle up with them from time to time. Maisy is a really healthy dog - nothing to report since she was rescued. She's really friendly and lively and also gets on well with other dogs.
