Great
Whit was one of the 4 puppies that were illegally dumped at the Sanctuary in September 2024. Just when they were becoming eligible for adoption, an outbreak of Distemper put a hold on all adoption activities, and when we resumed, they were becoming young dogs. While some of our adult dogs are adopted, many of our new homings are for young puppies. Wally was lucky and adopted, but Whit, Wren and Wave were left behind. It's tragic that their opportunity for adoption has been cruelly diminished. We try to encourage older adoptions because the nature of a dog of 6 months or older is already apparent, so the adopter know what they are getting, more or less. Within young puppies, it's too early to tell much about their character. We hope it's not too much longer for these lovely dogs to wait for their new start in life. Whit is such bundle of fun!
